The Forest is the Path, the new album from Snow Patrol, comes pressed to tri-colour-in-colour double LP’s, limited to 2,000 copies and hand-numbered to order. It was shipped just like this, not in plastic so I took pictures of everything and then instantly put it in a plastic sleeve to keep it protected. The record is rooted in reflection, introspection and interrogation. One of its key building blocks, says Gary Lightbody – lead singer of Snow Patrol - was the idea of love from a distance.
