To build and launch each rocket, you will need a compatible Estes model rocket engine, Starters, Recovery Wadding, the Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, 4 high-quality 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries, and any extra materials listed in the directions (sold separately). The Alpha and Viking rockets also require scissors, a pencil, a ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, a modeling knife, masking tape, clear tape, plastic cement, white primer, and blue paint. Always follow the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code during operation.
