Antique Chatelaine Style Purse

Chatelaine Style: The purse features a metal clip designed to attach to a belt or waistband, a style known as a "chatelaine bag". This allowed women hands-free convenience for carrying essentials like a small amount of money, a handkerchief, or calling cards.
* Beadwork: The body of the bag is covered in micro-beads, likely cut steel or glass beads, arranged in a geometric, star-like or floral pattern.
* Fringe: The bottom of the purse is adorned with a decorative fringe made of hanging beads.
* Frame: It has an ornate, die-stamped metal frame with a kiss-lock closure. The metal is possibly German silver, a common material for such items during that period. 
This specific design, with its geometric patterns and fringe, aligns well with the Art Deco style prevalent in the 1920s. Purse is in excellent condition considering age. The outside is in excellent condition- inside does have some wear and tear but still in great useable condition.
