This is a surreal armadillo illustration T-shirt designed by American sculptor Jim Franklin.
He started drawing armadillos around 1968 and became a symbol of the hippie counter-movement that was happening in Texas at the time.
He used the armadillo to represent a movement against existing values and lifestyles.
The vintage feel of the 80s anvil body gives the T-shirt a great vibe, and the happy-looking flying armadillo is incredibly cute.

Overall, I love it.
The words "ALTERNATE ROUTE" are written at the bottom left of the illustration, which is a stylish way of expressing a different path.
